Speed limit here is 40km/h I think, on such a street - the equivalent of our 30mph.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Mind, some rules &lt;em&gt;are&lt;/em&gt; different. If you&#039;re on a main road, turning right into a side street, you have right of way over oncoming traffic turning left into the same street, for instance.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Problem is that about 1 person in 2 seems to know this. 		<description>It is illegal to park the wrong side of the road, according to the DSA driving theory test that I took and passed yesterday, if you are on a street which has a speed limit of greater than 30mph.  If you are in one of these streets, you must also have parking lights on whilst you are parked for greater visibility.</description>
