		<description>Nah, no danger of the REN being overloaded. There&#039;s only one phone plugged into the entire building, and only one socket for it to be plugged into! Swapped that out and popped in a router (avec filter) and it can&#039;t find an ADSL signal either.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Nowt there - dead line.</description>

		<description>Just a suggestion about those phones, though you&#039;ve almost certainly thought of it already yourself.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;I dunno if France has ringer lines, but it could be that the REN number&#039;s maxed out. I&#039;d unplug everything but one phone plugged in at the main socket - if that fails, for several different handsets, then it&#039;s France Telecom&#039;s fault.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;And of course, I&#039;d check that the ringers on each phone haven&#039;t been turned off by idiots.</description>
