At the current rates, 150 Baht is roughly $US4.50 - I'm sure that's cheaper than you're paying at home! I had another (half hour) massage in a shopping centre 2 days ago and paid 200 Baht for that one, so you can tell the prices vary wildly just around this one city. Don't forget that everything is "haggleable" over here. The girl in the shopping centre was offering me an hour for the price of 45 mins but I didn't have the time. Taking massage classes is a good idea. Learning to do anything for yourself is more cost-effective in the long run! Hey Jeff and thanks for your comment. Each time we go on vacation, I make sure that I get a massage. I haven't travelled outside the US yet, but maybe someday.
